When Oklahoma legalized medical marijuana, the only real requirement was that Oklahoma residents had to be involved in marijuana growing and selling. Deputies from the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office were the first to arrive at the scene of a quadruple homicide at an abandoned marijuana farm.

When OpenAI was informed about the Vespers document by the journalist in July 2023, the company did not report the allegedly fabricated filing to any authorities, Wood said. All of them are associated with Jacob Thomas Vespers, referred to in some documents as Jacob Thomas Redmond Messer or Jacob Thomas Redmond or Jacob Thomas Messer. There's a github post made under a profile name, Jacob Thomas Redmond, on May 19th, 2023 that bears some tell-tale signs of being AI generated.

The proposed regulations stop short of requiring investment advisers to adopt formal customer identification programs, like banks do. He decried Tuesday’s ruling, which shifts control of some of his companies to a court-appointed receiver, as the “KILL TRUMP” decision. As he quizzed the judge, Kise noted that some of the Trump entities being stripped of their business licenses own properties such as Trump Tower and an office building at 40 Wall Street, both in Manhattan. “Is it the court’s position that those assets are now going to be sold or just going to be managed under the direction of the (receiver)?” Kise asked. The judge described how Trump, his adult sons Donald Jr. and Eric, the Trump Organization and other defendants made up valuations and inflated Trump's net worth to suit their business needs. Trump and the other defendants have argued that they never committed fraud, and that the challenged transactions were profitable. Engoron said James submitted "conclusive evidence" that Trump had overstated his net worth by between $812 million and $2.2 billion. Engoron's decision does not automatically mean James' fraud case will go to trial next Monday. Seaford, Delaware is seeking to give business entities the right to vote in local elections. For a small town of about 8,500 people, that's a voter turnout of only 4%. A new bill now being considered in the small town, however, could help increase those numbers. Seaford's town leaders want to give corporations based there the right to vote. In April, Seaford Mayor David Grenshaw cast the tie-breaking city council vote to amend the city's charter, giving business entities — ranging from small businesses to large corporations — the right to vote in local elections.

The city near San Francisco is one of the richest areas of the country, on average. It's also part of a trend which has wealthy Americans creating trusts or LLCs to buy homes. It's also a prime example of a new trend among the country's wealthiest homebuyers, according to the Chronicle. On one block highlighted by the Chronicle's report, just two of the 12 homes are actually owned by individual people, with the rest owned by trusts, LLCs, or other kinds of corporations. "If someone sets up a trust, it's almost like a corporation that continues to live beyond the person," Michael Repka, CEO and managing broker for DeLeon Realty, told the San Francisco Chronicle.
